About the Fundraiser

Forever Changed Animal Rescue (FCAR) is a small, local, volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit charity dedicated to saving animals from high-kill shelters and other dangerous or unhealthy situations. We are holding a raffle fundraiser, in which prizes that have been donated will be awarded, to raise money to support our rescue efforts. 

 

Proceeds from the contest will be used to cover medical fees such as exams, medications, and medical procedures/operations for the rescued animals in our care. They may also be applied towards animal transport costs or to purchase any necessary supplies or items for the animals placed with FCAR's foster families.

Rules, Disclaimers, & Prize Collection

This contest is open to residents of the continental US who are ages 18 or older.

 

Please note that many prizes are for local events, attractions, or businesses around the DC Metropolitan area. Should you reside outside of the DC area and be selected as a recipient of a local prize that you are unable to use, you can choose to gift your prize to a DMV area resident. Alternatively, you may notify us if you would prefer to forego the prize, in which case a new recipient will be drawn from the remaining entries. Prizes have no cash value and may not be exchanged for any other prizes or items.

​Should you be selected as the recipient of a gift basket or other physical item, you will be notified to arrange for prize pickup from an FCAR volunteer located in the DC Metropolitan area. In some cases, prizes will need to be claimed on-site at the business location itself.

 

As prizes have been donated at no cost to FCAR, we are unfortunately unable to pay to have prize baskets or items shipped out of state. However, should you choose to pay for shipping and handling costs, we may be able to arrange for shipping of prize items.

 

Certain prizes such as items that ship directly from the artist/manufacturer or digital gift cards can be delivered to individuals who live outside of the DC Metro area.

Donations

If you reside outside of the DMV and would like to contribute without purchasing raffle tickets, please consider making a donation to FCAR using Venmo (@ForeverChangedAnimalRescue-FCA and verification code 0628 if prompted).

Purchasing Entries

Virtual raffle tickets (i.e., entries) will be available for purchase for a two-week period beginning on 7/10/21 and ending 7/23/21 at 11:59 PM. We are unable to accept payment on this website so please follow the instructions to pay using Venmo after completing the entry form to ensure that your entry is counted. Please feel free to contact us at foreverchangedar@gmail.com if you would like to arrange for an alternate payment method. Once payment has been submitted, refunds cannot be provided.

Individuals who have donated prizes are still eligible to participate in the raffle by purchasing entries!

Virtual Drawings

Drawings for all prizes will be held virtually on 7/24/21, with one entry selected from the entire pool of entries for each prize that is available. Multiple prizes may be awarded to one contest entrant, with no limit to the number of prizes awarded to each individual.
